Scope of Role:
As a Sales Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating exciting and innovative designs that meet our customers’ needs and wants. Your mission is to inspire our customers to choose our fitted furniture solutions by living and breathing “The Company Way” – being real, creative, and committed.
- Achieving sales conversion targets
- Driving sales revenue
- Maintaining appropriate discount levels
- Increasing sales across product categories
- Earning customer recommendations and fostering re-transactions
- Garnering positive customer reviews
- Ensuring “Right First Time” service delivery
How You’ll Succeed:
- Visit customers in their homes, listen to their needs, and inspire them with creative and imaginative designs.
- Utilize our fitted furniture solutions to craft tailor-made solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Prepare compelling sales presentation packs and follow our sales and ordering process to deliver top-notch work.
- Harness the power of our sales and design tools, including the Design Centre, for customer follow-up consultations.
- Be accountable for your work, championing our “Right First Time” philosophy to enhance the customer buying experience.
- Provide exceptional service from design through to installation completion, inspiring and supporting customers at every step.
- Manage multiple customers, ensuring seamless communication throughout their journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues at the Design Centre to create a welcoming environment for customers and contribute to its success.

What it Takes:
- Proven experience in a successful sales role, preferably in a direct sales environment.
- Strong track record of driving sales and consistently meeting/exceeding targets.
- Exceptional customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for Home Improvement or an interest in design.
- A customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding design and sales presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation, reflecting our brand.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, demonstrating a friendly, approachable, and positive attitude.
- Possess a proactive and positive mindset, approaching every task with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a willingness to take ownership and initiative.
- Exhibit excellent listening skills and the ability to articulate information accurately and concisely.
- Show a strong desire for continuous personal and professional development, actively seeking out new industry trends and advancements.
- Based 5 days a week from a Design Centre, including 1 weekend and 2 evenings per week.
- Availability for additional hours during key trading periods.
